The Pine Bluff Police Department will host a fishing derby for children 15 and younger from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
The event will include a hot dog eating contest, a fish cooking demonstration, school supplies and senior care bags, according to a spokesman.
Refreshments will fish, nachos, taco salad, popcorn, fries and snow cones.
