The Pine Bluff Chapter of The Links Inc., will present a diabetes workshop entitled “Protect Your Heart: Take Good Care of Your Diabetes for Life” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Koal to Diamond Center, 1911 University Drive.
The diabetes workshop is designed to educate women about what can be done to prevent and control diabetes; discuss the risk factors and the symptoms of diabetes; and to recognize the importance of controlling blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol. There is no charge for the workshop.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Steven Wright who specializes in nephrology and internal medicine.
