Pine Bluff Christian Women’s Connection will hold its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
The featured speaker will be Billie Cash of Collierville, Tenn. Cash is a southern lady of many talents who lives in Collierville with her husband, Roy, retired U.S. Navy captain. She attended the University of Memphis, majoring in theatre. She has been very successful in this venture.
For 30 years, Cash was immersed in the challenges of military life. While serving alongside her husband, she developed motivational workshops, which has taken her to the four corners of America with Navy commands, civic and marketing groups, nursing staffs and public schools. She is a retreat/conference speaker who has authored six books, which she calls “signposts” for Christian living and is presently working on her seventh.
In 2010, she began speaking across the nation on military bases at special events honoring military wives and active duty women. Cash brings humor and authenticity framed with biblical insight for today’s woman.
Her joy is her daughter and son who have given her a legacy of 11 grandchildren she enjoys.
Cash will also be the special feature vocalist. She will give a very special music program. Her musical background embraces many kinds of music. She has soloed with the Norfolk Symphony in Norfolk Virginia. Her worship CD, “Light Your World”, was recorded in Midhurst, England.
The cost of the luncheon is $13.50, which includes meal, tax and gratuity. To make a reservation, call Mary Bearden at 870-489-4710 .
