“Love Makes The World Go Around” will be the theme for the luncheon scheduled by the Pine Bluff Christian Women Connection from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
“Celebrations of Love” will feature Michael Bohner, the new store manager of Sissy’s Log Cabin at Pine Bluff.
Bohner, his wife Landi, and two children, Carson and Julia, come to Pine Bluff from Daytona Beach, Fla. After spending 12 years as a professional opera singer, Bohner entered the jewelry business nearly 15 years ago. He worked several years on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Fla., and also as general manager of one of the largest independent jewelers in the eastern United States.
He also spent a few years in the funeral and cemetery industry as general manager and consultant. He has been a featured speaker for the Luxury Jewelers Resource Group, as well as many local and regional organizations.
“Gems From the Heart” will be brought by Trudy Chester, the special speaker from Hot Springs Village.

Chester and her husband, David, retired to the Hot Springs area 22 years ago. Retirement has been an exciting journey. They like to travel and spend a lot of time on the road. During their travels they especially enjoy searching out used book stores with old books, good bakeries and beautiful gardens.
Chester has been an inspirational speaker and teacher for many years. She talks about love and The Greatest Love Story Ever Told. She believes that the warmth of love expands a person’s heart.
This event is sponsored by the Christian Women Connection, which is a part of Stonecroft Ministries in Kansas City, Mo. Christian Women is a non-denominational group with no formal membership, attendance requirements or dues. There are 2000 groups meeting throughout the United States and Canada.
