I have been practicing medicine in Pine Bluff for about 35 years. During that time, I have cared for thousands of patients at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
I have also discussed with my patients the care they have received while hospitalized at other institutions. I have always felt that the care provided at JRMC was equal to or better than that of all the other hospitals in the area.
I recently needed back surgery and chose JRMC for my procedure. This also necessitated four nights in the hospital. This let me experience the hospital from the perspective of the patient.
The care I received from Dr. Simpson, anesthetist Walt Theriot, the pre-op nurses, the OR team, and all of the staff on 2NE was outstanding.

This cemented my belief that patients in Southeast Arkansas should choose JRMC for their care.
