Pet of the Week: Peppermint

Pet of the Week: Peppermint
Peppermint lives up to her name — sweet, refreshing and full of festive cheer. She is a two year old, beautiful mixed breed who is gentle, affectionate and sometimes a bit of a "peppermint patty" with a huge, loving heart. She's a gentle soul looking for a home to share her love with. Peppermint has demonstrated good behavior around other dogs while on leash walks. She may be shy at first but warms up quickly. Peppermint will be spayed, microchipped and given her rabies shot upon adoption. She is heartworm positive, but don't let that deter you as it is treatable. You can see Peppermint at Pine Bluff Animal Control, 901 N. Haverty St. in Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Details: (870) 543-5135. (Special to The Commercial)
