The Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra will present “An Afternoon at the Opera” at 4 p.m. March 11 on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Building auditorium.
The UAPB Vesper Choir, UAPB faculty and student vocal soloists and members of the Arkansas Festival Ballet will join the PBSO for a thrilling afternoon of popular arias, choruses, ballets and instrumental interludes from classic operas such as Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s Aida, Puccini’s Tosca, Wagner’s Lohengrin and more.
This is the 25th season for the symphony and the 19th year that Charles Jones Evans has served as the conductor.
All tickets will be open seating, first come first serve. Tickets for this concert are available at the door and are $30 for adults and $12 for students.
