PBHS Class of 1960 holds cookout at Little Rock

The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 recently held its 10th annual cookout at the AECC Pavilion at Little Rock.

Ruby Wessels Poteet gave the blessing with all holding hands in a large circle.

The cookout was catered by Fat Boy’s. The menu included baked beans, potato salad, slaw and barbecue beef and pork.

Those attending were Jitters Morgan of White Hall, Connie Reman of Springdale, Don and Cynthia Puckett of Fayetteville, Linda Sines Weadock of Hot Springs, Buddy and Sue Hankins of Little Rock, Jim and Ronnie of Benton, Bobby and Linda Walker of Little Rock, Andy and Lee Bolding Calloway of Royal, Dave and Patsy Ashcraft Taylor of Paragould, Wilburn and Claudette Owen Cox of Malvern, Sandra Goodbar McFalls of Bryant, Travis Mitchell of Hot Springs, Ollie McAllister of Hot Springs Village, Janice Helvie Tiner, Jerry and Ruby Wessels Poteet, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell, John McAlister, Bob and Lendra Porter, all of Pine Bluff.

According to a spokesman, classmates had a wonderful time visiting and eating.

There was one classmate attending that some had not seen since graduation. Remembering old memories was enjoyed by all, the spokesman said.

The next meeting will be at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Bonanza Steakhouse, 2922 Olive St. All are urged to attend.
