The Pine Bluff Sickle Cell Support Group announces its first Little Miss Sickle Cell Pageant to be held Sept. 8 at The Pines mall.
The pageant will consist of three major categories — formal wear, casual wear and talent. Awards will be given in each category. Trophies, sashes and tiaras will be given as awards.
The age categories are Princess Miss, ages 1-3; Tiny Miss, ages 4-6; Sweetheart Miss, ages 7-9; and Little Miss, ages 10-12.
The contestant who raises the most money will be crowned Little Miss Sickle Cell 2012.
The deadline to turn in applications is at 7 p.m. July 5 in Henslee Hall at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
