Axel Ntamatungiro received the Medal for Excellence in English award at Subiaco Academy during the May 14 commencement ceremony at the academy in northwest Arkansas.
Ntamatungiro is the son of Dr. Sixte Ntamatungiro and Sylvana Niciteretse of Pine Bluff. The ceremony featured 1986 Subiaco Academy graduate Vincent Tate as the principal speaker.
