A Pine Bluff item is on the agenda for the meeting of the Arkansas Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 28. The panel meets at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality Headquarters Building at North Little Rock.
The agenda includes reports on the financial status of the Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund, third-party claims against the fund and consideration of requests for reimbursements for cleanup operations involving petroleum product releases at Pine Bluff, Benton, Yellville, Rogers, Arkadelphia, Fort Smith and West Memphis (three facilities).
The committee advises and assists the ADEQ and the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission concerning administration of the state Regulated Storage Tank Program.
