The Pine Bluff School District recently announced its policy for free and reduced price meals for children under the National School Lunch Program, Afterschool Snack Program and/or School Breakfast Program for the 2015-16 school year. The price is $1.60 for a paid student breakfast and $2.50 for lunch.
Household size and income criteria will be used to determine eligibility. Children from households whose income is at or below levels on the application are eligible for free or reduced price meals. For example, in a household of one person, the annual income level is $15,301 for free meals and $21,775 for reduced price meals. Details: Deborah Thomas or Shun Jackson, 543-4242 or 543-4247.
