Quilts of Valor Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is hosting a statewide Patriotic Quilt Contest sponsored by American Legion Post 20, to benefit A Second Tour, QOV Group.
Entries will be accepted until Monday, Oct 26. Winners will be announced at the Veterans Day Program at Russellville High School, Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The quilts that are entered will be awarded to Arkansas Veterans on the Quilts of Valor waiting list. The first-prize winner will receive $500.
