Parents as Teachers will meet Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, 912 W. Sixth Ave. The topic will be “Free Pictures with Santa.” Also available will be free hearing/vision screenings to children with Hippy, PAT or ABC.
A free project, PAT is an early childhood parenting education and family support program. It provides parents of preschool children with information and parent-child activities to encourage language, intellectual, motor and social-emotional growth.
PAT also accepts volunteers and donations of baby items to help families in the program. Details: Call 534-7957.
