Pastors on Patrol have posted the Ten Commandments in Pine Bluff and White Hall schools recently.
On Aug. 20 at 10 a.m, Pastors on Patrol will hang the Ten Commandments in the Watson Chapel High School and will begin supplying copies to the elementary schools. Pastors on Patrol faith-based mentoring movement is an educational component of Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registration (PBICVR), according to a news release.
The Rev. A. Dale Watkins Sr. and the Rev. James Hill Jr., Pastors on Patrol members, were involved in the recent postings.
“We attended the West Pine Bluff Rotary Club on Aug. 7, 2025, during their weekly noon meeting,” said the Rev. Jesse Turner. “I shared exciting news about the installation of the Ten Commandments. It is wonderful to see these values showcased at White Hall High School and Pine Bluff, thanks to the support of Superintendents Jennifer Barbaree, Gary Williams and Keith McGee.” Act 573 of this year’s state Legislature requires all Arkansas K-12 and college classrooms to display a framed 16-inch-by-20-inch poster of the Ten Commandments.
