Parole board rejects three who sought sentence commutations

The Arkansas Parole Board has rejected the applications of three Jefferson County men who were seeking to have their prison sentences commuted by the governor.

The three whose applications were rejected and the crime they were convicted of were as follows:

* Edward Craft/hosea, capital murder

* Wendell Gaddy, terroristic act, first-degree murder, probation revocation

* Bobby Jones, rape, second-degree battery, aggravated assault, felon in possession of a firearm, probation revocation

The board also turned down the application of Gwendolyn Moore-Rogers, who was seeking a pardon. She was convicted of second-degree murder, violating the Arkansas Hot Check Law and a probation revocation.
