The Arkansas Parole Board on Wednesday turned down applications from four inmates from Southeast Arkansas who wanted the governor to commute their sentences.
The board also rejected applications for a pardon in two additional cases.
The following is the list of people who wanted their sentences commuted, with the county of conviction and charges convicted of:
* Michael Gault, Grant County, criminal attempt manufacture, delivery of possession of a controlled substance as an habitual offender, aggravated assault as an habitual offender and fleeing as an habitual offender.
* Brandon Phillips, Jefferson County, third-degree domestic battery probation revocation, first-degree domestic battery, first-degree criminal mischief more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 and Lincoln County, breaking or entering probation revocation, two counts theft of property probation revocations, and two counts first-degree criminal mischief probation revocation.

* Kristina Quarles, Grant County, two counts theft of property probation revocation and Jefferson County, theft of leased property as an habitual offender, six counts financial identity fraud as an habitual offender, three counts theft of property as an habitual offender, six counts forgery as an habitual offender, hot check violation as an habitual offender, theft of property more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 as an habitual offender and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card more than $25,000 as an habitual offender.
* George Thomas, Jefferson County, first-degree sexual assault.
