The Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to two free events.
Open mic night will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the Coretta Scott King Center in Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The theme is Black History and talent acts may enter the showcase when they arrive, according to spokesman Aaron Jones.
Also, a girls volleyball clinic for ages 7 to 15 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 27, at the gymnasium of the Chester Hynes Community Center. Participants interested in learning volleyball and joining the Parks and Recreation Girls Volleyball League is welcomed to attend. Coaches and volunteers are welcomed also.
