The Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department announces the 6th annual Jefferson County 5K Run/Walk/Dance to End Childhood Obesity will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
Registration will be held from 7-7:45 a.m. and the starting line will be at the Regional Park – Amphitheater. A shuttle will be offered to return to amphitheater, according to the news release.
September is “National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month.” The local event will also include health screenings, farmers market, yoga and dance.
