The Pine Bluff School District’s Title I Parent and Family Resource Center is sponsoring free ACT-Aspire parent engagement workshops in math and reading.
Parents will learn about the format of the ACT-Aspire test, practice test questions on the computer and learn strategies to coach their children in test taking strategies.
Workshops will be held at the Parent Center, 1215 W. Pullen St., at 5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
For math — Monday, Sept. 25 for 3rd and 4th grade; Tuesday, Sept. 26 for 5th and 6th grade; Monday, Oct. 2 for 7th and 8th grade; Tuesday, Oct. 3 for 9th and 10th grade;
For reading — Monday, Oct. 9 for 3rd and 4th grade; Tuesday, Oct. 10 for 5th and 6th grade; Monday, Oct. 16 for 7th and 8th grade; Tuesday, Oct. 17 for high school.
