The Jefferson County Election Commission made changes for two polling sites in the May 22 elections, according to a news release.
Voters in precincts 104,108, 109 and 110, who previously voted at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative (ARESC — the old Sears building) at 912 W. Sixth Ave., will now vote at the Shrine Temple, 850 S. Main St., Pine Bluff. The change was necessary due to a scheduling conflict.
Voters assigned to precincts 45, 46, 83, 101, 102, 423 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff stadium will now vote at the St. James United Methodist Church, 900 University Drive, Pine Bluff. The change was necessary due to water damage to the UAPB polling site making it unavailable.
All affected voters will receive post card notices about the changes which are permanent, according to the news release.
