After winning two low-scoring games on Friday, Oral Roberts dominated the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to finish the sweep.
ORU defeated UAPB 19-0 in seven innings Saturday at Chapman Park in Tulsa.
ORU (3-0) scored five runs in the first inning, three in the second, six in the third, two in the fourth and three in the fifth. Catcher Wailele Kane-Yates hit 3 for 4 with five RBIs and three runs, while designated hitter Cooper Combs hit 1 for 2 with four RBIs and a run. First baseman Ethan Fender joined Kane-Yates and Combs in homering.
UAPB (0-3) played five pitchers, with none completing two innings. Starter Nate Monceaux (0-1) allowed six runs on five hits and a walk.
ORU starter Trent Martin (1-0) held the Golden Lions to one hit and one walk with one strikeout in four innings. The Golden Eagles used three relievers to finish the game, with none allowing a hit or a walk. UAPB second baseman Trinidad De La Garza had the lone hit, a single.
