A candidate forum will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Gould Community Center.
The Gould Citizen Advisory Council (GCAC) will host the event in conjunction with the Arkansas Public Policy Panel, according to a news release.
“We have invited all declared candidates running for state Representative District 12, Lincoln County Sheriff, Lincoln County Judge and City of Gould Mayor,” according to the release.
“It is so important that our citizens get the chance to hear from candidates for public office before the election so that they go into the voting booth as informed voters. The candidates will have an opportunity to ensure that their positions on the issues are fairly and accurately represented,” a spokesman said.
The community is invited to attend and ask questions.
“GCAC is a community-based group that encourages citizens to get involved in organizing, social justice issues, advocacy, and electoral engagement at the local and state levels,” according to the release.
