The Arkansas District Optimist Junior Golf Championships will be held June 16 at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 10-18 and will be flighted according to age.
Winners in each flight will qualify for an expense-paid trip to the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, Calif., in July. The Optimist is one of the largest junior golf events in the nation with more than 650 players from around the world.
