The community is invited to participate in a 5K walk/run sponsored by the Optimist Club of Pine Bluff.
Entitled “This One’s for the Kids 5K,” the race is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, April 29, with late registration from 7-7:45 a.m. The cost is $20 in advance or $25 on race day. There is a discounted rate for ages 17 and younger.
“Please support this worthwhile cause,” a spokesman said in a news release.
