Oh, what a relief! Kinda. Now we only have to listen to more pundits spew about what happened that the election didn’t go as they had projected. You’d think they (those taking up radio/TV air space) would have learned … they really didn’t/don’t have a clue!
Kinda like the efforts by the diminished — GFPB. So now, after the fact, here we are with a good amount of our hard-earned tax dollars used for GFPB-directed projects to “generate” blight.
Just what we already had a generous dose of. Example A — Admiral Benbow has turned out to be awfully dang close to a legitimate Benbow. What conspiracy entails increasing city spending for needless stuff vs. spending for capital projects to reduce operating costs while providing needed resources — green power.
Maybe some of our financial resources should have been invested to secure growing UAPB as well as our Saracen Casino and soon Hotel. Any plans currently in place to ensure uninterrupted power for these investments as well as for Pine Bluff residents?
Almost daily there is a news article concerning issues from decaying city resources as businesses turn away from negligent cities — poor infrastructure including schools, lack of resources including utilities, trash service, and media tools to list a few.
