Failed leadership
Editor, The Commercial:
The following is my opinion. Against all common sense and reason, the present excuse for a Congress has betrayed us. A person who couldn’t be a battalion commander has been put in charge of defense. His ineptness and ignorance of acceptable military practices becomes more apparent daily.
With few exceptions, the remaining cabinet members are proving what was thought to be the case: Atty. Gen. Bondi is using her position to enable Trump’s program of vengeance against those who brought well founded charges against his felonious actions. The F.B.I. director is helping her do it.

Secretary of State Rubio proves to be unequal to the job, and is a willing operative with Trump in his obvious catering to oligarchs and Communist dictators. Others in the cabinet are obvious aiders and abettors to Trump’s fascist programs.
The six people Arkansas sent to Congress are reprehensible for their lack of integrity and for service to Trump having become their first priority. The ‘Party Loyalty’ that they manifest enables President ‘Heel Spurs’ to place the nation’s defenses in peril. A man who evaded service was allowed to denigrate all veterans by putting incompetent leadership at Defense; and all of them agreed to it!
The Trump “ring-kissers” in office now deserve no respect by the decent folks, and that’s the people who still remember those who fought and died for us. Mr. Cotton, no one got a medal for holding Mussolini’s coat! Your $12 million campaign account reveals who owns you. The same goes for Sarah Sanders.
