One-stop job, career fair set at Pine Bluff April 20

The One-Stop Job and Career Enhancement Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

Presented by the Pine Bluff Branch of the NAACP, this event will feature opportunities for the community to speak with employers as well as representatives of educational institutions. Participants will receive supportive services designed to help them improve their quality of life and learn about effective resume writing and interviewing skills, according to a news release.

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Service’s Mobile Workforce Center will also be on site.

“This center has full internet connectivity and is equipped with computers, printers, copiers and fax machines. All of the centers include a computer with access to Jobs Application With Speech (JAWS) software and most mobile units are handicapped accessible,” according to the release.
