The community is invited to join an effort entitled, “One Pine Bluff Praying Together,” to pray for the area following several homicides, according to a spokeswoman.
“Due to the recent homicides in the city of Pine Bluff, it is important that we come together and pray for the city,” she said in a news release.
The first gathering was held April 2 at Grace Temple Baptist Church. Other meetings will be held on the following dates at 6 p.m. at these churches: April 9, Grace Episcopal Church, 4101 S. Hazel St.; April 16, First Missionary Baptist Church, 4500 Faucett Road; April 23, Gospel Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Oakwood Road; and April 30, Pine Hill Baptist Church, 2101 W. Reeker Ave.
