We are really lucky in our community to have a police force that cares so much about folks. Take Halloween night, for example. The department went all out for their annual Fall Festival, which attracts thousands each year to the Pine Bluff Convention Center. There’s tons of free candy, hot dogs, costumes, games — the entire Halloween experience under one roof.
Pine Bluff Police Department Lt. Shirley Warrior, who runs the department’s Community Relations section and put the annual event together, said thanks to Family Dollar, Dollar General and Brookshire’s, the department had enough candy for 2,500 people; they were also cooking 3,000 hot dogs at the event.
We salute you, Lt. Warrior, along with the rest of the police department for a job well done!
