The Tau Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity will celebrate the founding of the fraternity by honoring the achievements of two area residents.
Friday, Nov. 18 — from 8 p.m. to midnight, a Purple and Gold Gala will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Dance music and hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar will be available.
Saturday, Nov. 19 — at 7 p.m., a banquet will be held at the Masonic Grand Lodge. The guest speaker will be Mayor-elect Shirley Washington. Louis Moss will be honored for his commitment to helping the youth of Pine Bluff. Ryan Watley, a local professor, will be honored for his dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life for area residents.
