A Military Exercise “Safety Zone” will close the Arkansas River to all traffic July 26 from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the 412th Engineering Command to conduct a bridge crossing exercise.
No vessels may enter or remain within the safety zone unless specifically authorized by the Coast Guard Patrol commander or the Coast Guard Lower Mississippi Group on VHF-FM Channel 16. Mariners are advised to contact James W. Trimble Lock and Dam for further information.
