The Jefferson County Clerk’s Office announced the early voting dates and the deadline for people to register to vote for the March 3 Preferential Primary Election and the Nonpartisan Election.
EARLY VOTING
Early voting will be held at the county courthouse on the following dates:
Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
Monday, Feb. 24, through Friday, Feb. 28, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Saturday, Feb. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
Monday, March 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Tuesday, March 3, voting will be held at the polling sites.
VOTER REGISTRATION
For those who aren’t registered to vote, Monday, Feb. 3, is the deadline to apply to register for the March 3 election. Arkansans can obtain a voter registration application from the county clerk’s office, public assistance office, public library, revenue office, military recruiting center, or by downloading one from the Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.arkansas.gov.
