North Arkansas College scored 3 runs in its last 2 innings Saturday to hold off Southeast Arkansas College for a 7-3 win to clinch a weekend series in Harrison.
SEARK (18-26) had evened the series with a 12-1 victory to begin a doubleheader. NorthArk (24-12) won Friday’s opener 14-9.
In the finale, North Arkansas expanded a 4-3 lead in the fifth with a 2-out, 2-run single by Davis Stephens. The Pioneers made it 7-3 in the sixth after Blythe Blakey hit a single to score a run.
SEARK had cut into a 4-0 deficit with 3 runs in the third. Wyatt Darby scored on a bases-loaded run, Chris Clark’s flyout allowed Drake Lee to score, and Cameron Gonzalez scored on a Darron Degeyter flyout.
Blakey went 3 for 3 and Garrett Fitts 2 for 4 in the win. Hagen McGarrah (2 hits in 3 2/3 innings, 4 strikeouts) picked up the decision.

Logan Deloach went 2 for 3 for SEARK. B. Harding took the loss after allowing an earned run on 1 hit and striking out 1 in 2/3 of an inning.
SEARK will play this afternoon at National Park College in Hot Springs.
UAM 5, Henderson State 4 (Saturday)
In Monticello, UA-Monticello (20-17, 16-8 Great American) completed a series sweep of Henderson State University with a Paul Dorrance single up the middle in the eighth inning to score Kirk Woolf.
Camden Tanner batted 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs to lead UAM. Woolf went 2 for 3 with a double.
Jacob McDaniel came on as the Boll Weevils’ fifth pitcher and allowed a hit while holding the Reddies (19-19, 13-11) to no runs for the win.
In softball Saturday, Henderson State beat UAM 3-2 to avoid a sweep. The Cotton Blossoms will host Southern Arkansas University in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
