Too Inspired To Be Tired, a newly organized group, will host a cancer awareness event at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the White Hall Library. The event is free and the public is invited.
Guest speakers will include Leslie Humphrey of the American Cancer Society, and a nurse, Dorothy Yarbrough. The emcee will be Toyedith Richards, a member of the group.
There will also be a question-and-answer segment, door prizes and refreshments.
Other members of Too Inspired To Be Tired are Tara Fitzpatrick, president; Darlene Shavers, Katrina Stennis, Teresa Urquhart, Lisa Mays and Linda Brown.
