New Community Baptist Church, 321 N. Birch St., will open its food pantry from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 9. Participants should bring ID and bags for carrying the food.
Also, a representative from the Arkansas Food Bank will be here to assist participants with forms for the food stamp program, SNAP. Forms will then be submitted to the Department of Human Services.
