Neighbor to Neighbor will offer a variety of homemade soups during the 2015 Soup on the Go fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 703 W. Third Ave.
Hot and ready 16-ounce containers of potato soup and chicken and dumplings soup will be available, as well as a variety of quart-size celebrity soups made by local chefs and home cooks. All soup will be sold as takeout only. The 16-ounce hot soups come with crackers and dessert for $7 and the celebrity quart-size cold soups are $10.
A list of celebrity soups will be posted at Trinity the day of the sale. There will also be baked goods for sale. Tickets are available in advance at Neighbor to Neighbor, 1419 Pine St., or from any Neighbor to Neighbor board member.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, patrons must come into the Parrish Hall at Trinity to place and pick up their orders. Lunchtime delivery will be available on orders of 10 or more to the same address.
Neighbor to Neighbor thanks all the celebrity chefs and businesses for participating. All proceeds will benefit Neighbor to Neighbor, which provides food and emergency services to more than 40,000 people each year in Jefferson County. Details: 543-2883.
