Neighbor to Neighbor plans annual fish fry, auction

Neighbor to Neighbor’s annual Fish Fry and Silent Auction will be held Friday, April 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 412 W. Sixth Ave.

Lunch will be served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are available for $13 each.

Take out meals will be available. Seated meals in Gallagher Hall will be all-you-can-eat. Delivery will be available during the lunch hour for orders of 10 or more to the same address.

“Catered by the Knights of Columbus, the Neighbor to Neighbor Fish Fry has become a local tradition, known not only for the exceptional food but the financial support it generates for Neighbor to Neighbor,” according to a news release.

The fish fry will also feature a silent auction with a variety of items ranging from jewelry to home décor and sports items. All proceeds will benefit Neighbor to Neighbor, which provides food and emergency assistance to needy families in Jefferson County.

Tickets are available in advance at Neighbor to Neighbor or from any board member, and will also be available at the door the day of the event. Details: Neighbor to Neighbor, 534-2883.
