The NAACP Youth Council will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Bethany Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1923 S. Olive St. All youth between 12 and 18 are invited to join. The annual membership fee is $10. The council meets monthly. Youth co-advisers are Kymara Seals and Marcie Johnson, according to a news release.
