The Pine Bluff branch of the NAACP Youth Council will hold its last meeting of the school year. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Bethany Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1923 S. Olive St.
“We will be accepting new members in preparation for the 2019-2020 school year which will begin in September,” according to a news release.
Youth between the ages of 12 and 18 are welcome to attend. The focus is teaching leadership skills and social justice advocacy training, according to the release.
