The Pine Bluff Branch of NAACP will hold the following general membership meetings to elect officers and at-large members of the executive committee. Meetings will be held at Kings Highway Missionary Baptist Church, 2312 Fluker St. on these dates:
• At 7 p.m. Sept. 13, there will be an election of the nominating committee. All participants whose memberships are current as of 30 days prior to the meeting date may be elected to the committee.
• On Oct. 11, there will be a report of the nominating committee, receipt of nominations by petition and election of the election supervisory committee. All participants whose memberships are current as
of April 1 may be nominated for office or as an at-large member of the executive committee. To sign a nominating petition or be elected to the election supervisory committee, membership must be current as of 30 days prior to the October meeting.
• On Nov. 8, the election of officers and at-large members of the executive committee will take place. Polls will open from 5 to 7 p.m. To vote in a branch election, participants must be a member in good standing of the branch 30 days prior to the election. Identification will be required.
