Air Force Airman Michael A. Moss graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland at San Antonio, Texas.
Moss is the son of Michael W. Moss and the step-son of Glenna M. Moss of White Hall; and the son of Angela K. Whitehead and the step-son of Johnny Whitehead of Pine Bluff.
Moss is a 2011 graduate of White Hall High School.
The airman completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
