Robert F. Morehead Middle School band students, under the direction of Eckard Fox, traveled to Star City High School on Friday to compete in the Region 3 Solo and Ensemble events.
The following students earned high ratings in solo and duet performances:
Solo Category
– Excellent – Kerissa Gipson, Brittnee Chambless, Unuque Watson, Cara Boullie and Jacarra Lavender
– Superior – Symfoni Green
In the Duet Category
– Excellent – Ladestiny Hawkins and Jacarra Lavender; Cara Boullie and Kerissa Gipson; and Ladestiny Hawkins and Unique Watson.
