The mission society of Timothy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1304 S. Apple St., will hold two fundraisers to benefit children of the late Bernita Hill-White, who died recently, according to a spokeswoman.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, June 8, the church will offer catfish dinners for $9. Meals will include fish, spaghetti, coleslaw, bread and cake. Beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 9, the mission society will offer items sewn by Hill-White as well as food and other products during a fundraiser. Details: 870-341-3190.
