Free basic dental care will be offered to children and adults at the 10th annual Arkansas Mission of Mercy.
The event opens at 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Student Center.
Volunteers will provide cleanings, fillings and extractions on a first come, first served basis. No income or eligibility requirements are necessary.
The event is organized by the Arkansas State Dental Association and sponsors include Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation, which provided a $100,000 grant, and the Walmart Foundation. Details: www.arkansasmissionofmercy.org or 1-800-501-2732.
