Missing woman focus of search

The Pine Bluff Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public as it continues its search for Joynell Brandon and any information regarding her whereabouts.

She has been missing since May 13. The police remain in close contact with her family and have the full cooperation of all the parties involved in this investigation, according to a news release from the police department.

Brandon has a diagnosed mental health condition that requires medication but didn’t have the medication with her when she disappeared. Brandon is Black, 43 years old, stands 5’2″, has brown eyes and weighs 220 pounds. Her last known location was University Drive. She was last wearing black leggings and a black and gold blouse, and carried a rainbow purse. She has a nose ring and scarring from burns down the right side of her neck and her right arm.

“Per the family’s request, we ask that any information regarding Ms. Brandon’s disappearance be forwarded to the Pine Bluff Police Detective’s Office (870) 730-2090, and tips can be submitted on the department’s website (www.pbpd.org) under the tab labeled ‘Crime Tips’ or by contacting our tip line at (870) 730-2106,” according to the release.
