Missing photos

Recently, Zebras basketball Coach [Billy] Dixon expressed interest in teaching the team about Pine Bluff High School’s rich sports history and the many championships won down through the years.
Maybe he could find out why the photographs of the 1951-52 school year football and basketball champions were removed from the trophy case and their present location?
A year or so ago I asked a similar question in a letter to the editor of The Commercial and I believe the school’s athletic director said she would look into it. I have never seen anything more about it.

Hopefully Coach Dixon can find them, and I will certainly be grateful to him for his effort.
PS: All five of the basketball starters and 9 of the 10 traveling squad played football too. At least two of us are still living. That was 71 years ago.
