A missing Pine Bluff man has been located unharmed in another state.
The Pine Bluff Police Department asked the public for help locating James Lee Owens, 59, on Aug. 27, reporting that he has dementia and had not been seen since July 20.
“We are happy to report that Mr. Owens has been located in another state alive and well,” PBPD spokesman Officer Richard Wegner said in a press release Friday. “A detective with the Pine Bluff Police Department has spoken with Mr. Owens and members of the local law enforcement agency where he is at. We are confident that Mr. Owens suffered no foul play and simply relocated without telling anyone. He has requested his location remain confidential and we will respect his wishes.”
