Rick and Cindy Minton announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shelby Lynn Minton, to Nathan D. Nix, son of Kevin and Kim Nix of Sparkman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy and Judy Minton of Pine Bluff, Bobby Langrell of Redfield and Joyce Langrell of White Hall. She is the 2015 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture/animal science and a minor in coaching and Associates of Arts Degree. She is a current volunteer 4-H leader in Drew County, former Southeast AR Regional 4-H Vice-President, AR 4-H Ambassador, Teen leader, State 4-H Record Book Winner.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Connie and Adele Nix of Sparkman and Floyd and Pat Grace of Sparkman. He is a 2015 graduate of SAU Tech with an associates degree in applied science and certificate in industrial technology. He works as maintenance in East Camden.
The ceremony will take place at noon Saturday, June 13, at White Hall UPC, 7745 Sheridan Road, White Hall, AR.
