Patricia J. and David R. Michael, Sr., of Pine Bluff celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary with a family celebration dinner at the Pine Bluff Country Club. The event was hosted by their children, Sandy Bitely of Pine Bluff, Jamie Murphy and David R. Michael Jr., both of Little Rock.
The couple were married on August 13, 1955 at Greenville, Miss. The Rev. D. I. Young performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Michael is the former Patricia James, the daughter of the late Edward Jesse and Beatrice C. James. She is a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Michael is the son of the late Edward Joseph and Blanche C. Michael. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The couple has five grandchildren.
